Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Imaging Services Directors across Froedtert Health, responsible for the overall direction, management and control of assigned Site and/or Modality Section. Directs assigned staff and procedures in quality patient care. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelors degree in a Health Science, Health Administration, or related field is required. In lieu of Bachelors degree, three years of healthcare formal leadership experience or five years technical imaging related experience will be accepted. If no bachelors degree, must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors degree program.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Demonstrated competency and knowledge in a medical sonography area of operations is required. Ability to use standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, computer terminal, printer and facsimile machine. Travel to and from all locations where assigned modality equipment and staff are located along with various meeting requirements. Ability to use general medical equipment including first aid equipment. Ability to use patient mobility devices including patient carts, wheelchairs, and patient lifting devices. Ability to use and understand assigned Modality Imaging equipment. Highly effective written and oral communication skills. Read, write, high degree of aptitude and precision in mathematics including metric knowledge. Highly effective interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective leadership, supervisory and management skills.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

RDMS registered (minimum of physics and abdomen or OB/Gyn) within three months of program completion/hire date, as applicable; second registration must be completed within 6 months of hire. 3rd advanced certification (Vascular, AB, or OB/Gyn) must be completed by 1 year of employment. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
