Job Description

Join a team of commercial finance professionals to drive decisions within Zurn Elkay. You will play a key role in managing financial performance and implementing financial strategies to achieve business objectives. You will support business partners through budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager with analytical rigor and strategic thinking to drive our business forward. This is an exciting role that provides finance support to business partners and leads projects. You will partner closely with Zurn Elkay's Go to Market Finance business partners and leaders and support the General Managers (GM) in achieving financial targets. You will identify industry/competitive trends and report insights to key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Compile, track, analyze information to evaluate achievement of key operational and strategic objectives, as well as to monitor the overall financial and operating health/performance of the business.

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and financial models to support business analysis and decision-making.

  • Drives completion of monthly close and forecasting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely completion.

  • Manage the analysis of results and preparation of monthly business review reports related to the Company's performance in comparison to budgets, forecasts and prior periods.

  • Responsible for the annual strategic planning and budgeting financial process. This includes collaborations with business leaders, data collection and consolidation process with other commercial finance resources and functional leadership and validating for completeness and accuracy.

  • Review and analyze operating results and identify risks and opportunities, recommend actions to Go to Market Leaders to improve overall operational and financial performance.

  • Evaluate sales demand requirements plan with Go to Market leaders and convert them to operations plan (SIOP)

  • Drive process improvements in commercial finance reporting. This includes driving efficiency and standardization of the closing process, implementing procedures to streamline monthly forecast and reporting.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in financial functions with a track record of progression.

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance/business or related field and CPA designation

  • Commercial finance & manufacturing industry experience desirable.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables, dynamic formulas.

  • Previous experience in Tableau is a plus.

  • Previous experience with ERP systems and consolidations systems OneStream software is a plus. Previous system implementation experience a plus.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.

  • Willingness to work extended hours as job dictates - e.g. month-end, strategic plan & budget

  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Able to work well on a cross functional team, operate in a cooperative work environment, and drives continuous improvement.

  • Detail oriented perspective and drives accountability.

  • Well organized and self- directed individual.

  • Excellent understanding of financial reports and analysis

  • Highly motivated with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
